Traditional Metal

This type of braces is the most common we use and more comfortable than ever. Metal brackets are made from cobalt chromium and are bonded directly to the teeth. Patients enjoy having the option of changing the o-rings (tiny round elastics that hold wire in place) to match their mood.

Ceramic Braces

These braces are made of clear materials, and are less visible. Typically, we use them more on adults concerned with aesthetics as they require a bit more care than most teens are willing to give. The brackets are more brittle than metal braces, therefore we use them more on the upper arch than the lower.

Invisalign & Invisalign Teen

Known as the clear alternative to braces, Invisalign treatment consists of a series of invisible, removable aligners that are replaced every 2 weeks. While worn, they are virtually invisible and are super comfortable. Since they are removable, you can eat and drink anything you want, and brush and floss as usual. No metal means these are a great alternative for those with metal allergies.

Lingual Braces

Truly “invisible”, these braces are hidden behind teeth and therefore don’t show when you smile. They are created individually and customized to match the shape of each patient’s teeth. These are a unique choice because patients can smile with confidence both during and after treatment.
